The Unknown You was founded in December of 2010. The Unknown You's founder is Chanel Melendez. A young entrepreneur who opened her own art gallery in Downtown Annapolis in December of 2010 after creating the idea in October of 2010. She joined forces with one of her artists - George Herlth III who is a photographer for another company called BackFin Studios.
Within a week they put together a December Photo Marathon and business boomed from there. In their findings they've come across three talented makeup artists - and a hair stylist to join their team! We also intern a few art directors/creative directors to help during photo sessions.
Our goal is to show everyone that your life, your memories and your being deserve to be remembered, captured and shown off. Photography is a beautiful gift and we want to share it with you.
Additionally to our portrait sessions - we have a PinUp/Retro portion to our studio. This is to show women that they DESERVE TO FEEL AND BE SEXY! This has taken off beautifully and is such a fun thing to do!
